The MMS’ ITS department will be performing proactive maintenance this coming weekend within the following time frame:
Beginning: Saturday July 22nd,11:00 PM AST Ending: Sunday June 23rd at 6:30 AM AST
Maintenance Description:
The MMS ITS team will be performing scheduled maintenance on all servers within our data center.
This requires the shut down and re-start of all servers, which will result in an outage.
This maintenance is vitally important to our plan to upgrade and strengthen our infrastructure, while reducing dependencies and increasing redundancy and fault tolerance.
Maintenance Window:
The maintenance will involve an approximate 3-4 hour maintenance window per server,
beginning at 11:00 PM based on time zones and client operating hours.
During the maintenance window, you will be unable to process transactions, run reports or upload contracts with V-DOCS.
Existing connections will be disconnected, and new ones will not succeed until the maintenance is completed.
Locations that operate within the scheduled maintenance hours should use their contingency process to perform manual sales transactions.
Post Maintenance:
Where all client connections will be disconnected during maintenance, you will need to reconnect to the POS once maintenance is complete.
For those customers with Overture reporting, please be advised that the rollups will be suspended Saturday night with Saturdays results to roll up Sunday overnight for Monday access.
