If your connection to Maplewave applications fails, the first troubleshooting step is to check your internet connection. 



Check Internet Connection via Internet Browser

To check your internet connection using your internet browser: 

  1. Open a browser (e.g. Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.).

  2. Go to www.whatismyip.com to make sure you have an internet connection. 



Check Internet Connection via Command Prompt

To use the Command Prompt to check your internet connection: 

  1. Click on the Windows Start menu.  In the Search Programs and Files field, type cmd, then press the Enter key on your keyboard.

  2. The Command Prompt will open.  Type ping www.google.ca, then press the Enter key on your keyboard.  

  3. If you have an active internet connection, you will receive a reply.  If it times out/there is no response, contact your Internet Service Provider.
