After completing transactions with integrated credit and debit card tenders, users can manually close the Bank Batch at any point in the day:
- Upon logging in to Aria, navigate to the Tools menu, then select Other Functions and Close Bank Batch.
2. You will be prompted to confirm closing the Bank Batch – select OK to proceed.
3. A status window will appear to indicate the initialization of the PINpad, and another confirmation will appear once the Batch Close has completed – click OK.
4. You will be prompted to select a format for the Batch Close report – most stores generally choose the Narrow 40-column option (i.e. that prints directly from their receipt printer).
5. You may be prompted if you’d like to use the default printer – click OK.
6. The Batch Close Report will display in the Report Preview window. Select the Print icon from the top navigation bar to print the report.
[NOTE: The first 3 options in the top navigation bar of the window will allow you to resize the report in the Report Preview window, if desired.]
7. If further sales are completed after the Bank Batch is closed, this process will need to be repeated – there will be 2 Bank Batches for that day.
