To transfer serials to another branch: 

  1. From the Inventory module, select the Transfers button from the top navigation bar. 




      2. The Transfers screen will open – click the Add Manual Stock Transfer button from the bottom navigation bar.   




      3. The New Stock Transfer window will open.  Complete the details for the transfer as described in the table, below, then click OK

NOTE:  This helps users to quickly identify a specific transfer.   


Transfer Defaults

Reserve Location

Reflects the “Reserve” location, which holds the items until the transfer is received by the receiving branch. 


NOTE:  This location is configured to the setup of your organization. 


Missing Serial Location

Reflects the “Missing” location, which is used to store missing serials in the sender’s inventory. 


NOTE:  This location is configured to the setup of your organization. 





      4. A header for the Stock Transfer batch will appear.  Click the Add icon to add items to it.




     5. The Add/Edit window will open, allowing you to perform an Advanced Search for inventory items to add to the stock transfer.  

      6. Select the desired item from the search results.  Then, enter the quantity of the item to add to the transfer within the Qty field at the top of the window and click OK.    




      7. The item(s) will be added to the Stock Transfer batch and the Add/Edit window will reopen so that you can continue to add items to the stock transfer.  When all items have been added, click the Cancel button to return to the Batch Header screen.

      8. From the Batch Header screen, you must next add the serials for any serialized items on the transfer.  Right-click the desired item, then select the Add/Edit Serials option. 




      9. A window will open where the serials can be uploaded from a handheld data collector, scanned using a barcode scanner, or manually entered:  

  • Upload from Handheld:  Click the Handheld button and follow the prompts to upload the serials from your handheld device.




  • Scan or Manually Enter Serials:  Scan or manually enter the serials into the Enter Serials/IMEI field




      10. Once all serials have been added, click the Update Serials button to associate the serials to the transfer. 




      11. The serials will upload.  Select the Cancel icon to close the Serial Upload window.  

      12. You will be returned to the Batch Header screen.  Click the Back button from the bottom navigation bar to return to the Transfers screen.  

      13. From the Transfers screen, select the Stock Transfer batch that was just created.  Click the Change Status button from the bottom navigation bar and select Lock Transfer.


[NOTE:  If you need to edit the batch, double-click the Batch Header to add additional items or edit the batch as necessary before locking it.]




      14. A warning message will appear.  If you’d like to proceed with locking the batch, click the Lock Transfer button.

      15. You will be prompted to select a format for the Lock Transfer Sheet (i.e. by UPC, Brand/PC, Supplier, etc.) – click the desired option, then click OK.

      16. The Report Viewer window will appear.  Print the transfer sheet to send with the packing slip.
