If you have a cash drawer connected to your terminal, you need to enter a Printer Control Code in NRG Fast Cash so that it will automatically eject at the end of the transaction:
- Click the Maintenance button upon logging into NRG Fast Cash.
2. The Maintenance menu will open - select Printer/Cash Drawer Options.
3. In the Printer Control Codes field, enter the default code of 27,p,0,60 - this should be attempted prior to other code strings, unless otherwise instructed.
4. Click OK.
[NOTE: Automatic cash drawer ejection can only be accomplished if you use certain models of narrow (40 column) receipt printers. You cannot eject a cash drawer if your receipts are printed on a laser or inkjet printer.]
