A Special Transfer is generally used to conduct an internal transfer (e.g. front store needs to transfer item to back office, in-store use of stock, etc.).   Special Transfers charge out the item to an internal account so that the product is removed from sales quantities:

  1. Navigate to the POS module, click the Special menu button, then select Stock Control and Special Transfer




      2. The Special Transfer Reason will open.  Select the reason for the transfer from the list, then click the OK button

      3. A new Special Transfer tab will open on the Transaction screen.  Next, you must search for the appropriate account record to associate the transfer to – this works the same way as Adding a Customer to the sale.

      4. Next, you must Add the Item(s) to be transferred to the sale.

      5. Once all items have been added to the Special Transfer, click the Checkout button to finalize the Special Transfer.
