A Special Transfer is generally used to conduct an internal transfer (e.g. front store needs to transfer item to back office, in-store use of stock, etc.).   Special Transfers charge out the item to an internal account so that the product is removed from sales quantities:

  1. Click the Start Sale button to begin a new transaction, as normal.  

  2. Select the Other Functions button from the menu on the right-hand side of the Transaction screen. 




      3. The Other Functions menu will open – select the Special Transfer option.

      4. The Special Transfer Reason will open.  Select the reason for the transfer from the list, then click the OK button

      5. The Customer Search window will open.  Search for the appropriate account to associate the transfer to, then click the OK button

      6. The Special Transfer window will open with the selected account associated.  Use the Enter Command/Search field to search for the desired item(s) to add to the transfer (e.g. by description, item number, etc.).  Once all items have been added to the Special Transfer, click the Tender button




      7. The item(s) will be added to the transaction – click the Tender Sale button to finalize the Special Transfer.
