The Sign Document menu option allows you to sign and upload PDFs that have been saved on your local terminal or network drive:

[NOTE:  This method is usually used to load a document that was scanned via an optical scanner & saved on the terminal/network drive.]

  1. Left-click the V-DOCS icon in the system tray and select Sign Document.

      2. The Document Selection window will open.  Drag and drop the desired PDF document from your terminal or network drive onto any area of the window.  Or, click the Select File button to locate the document on your system to upload.

      3. The selected document will now reflect in the Document Selection window.  Select the Sign Document button at the bottom of the window.

      4. The PDF will load in V-DOCS in Document Signing mode.  If it is a recognized agreement format, V-DOCS will parse the information from the document and highlight any Signature points with green boxes.

      5. Refer to Sign a New Document for details on the signing process.
